Overview
As the Teamlead for IT Applications at ODW-ELEKTRIK GmbH, I led several transformative projects aimed at modernizing the company’s IT infrastructure and enhancing security. My responsibilities included overseeing the implementation of Azure Hosting, adopting a Zero Trust Security Approach, establishing a PowerPlatform Center of Excellence (CoE), deploying Tenfold IAM, implementing Intune, rolling out Microsoft Copilot, developing custom AI applications, and setting up a Moodle LMS.
Implementation & Configuration
Azure Hosting: Migrated the company’s infrastructure to Azure, providing scalable and reliable cloud hosting solutions.
Zero Trust Security Approach: Implemented a Zero Trust Security model to enhance the company’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring that all access requests are thoroughly verified.
PowerPlatform CoE: Established a Center of Excellence for Microsoft PowerPlatform to drive innovation and standardize workflow automation across the organization.
Tenfold IAM: Deployed Tenfold Identity and Access Management to streamline user access and enhance security protocols.
Intune: Implemented Microsoft Intune for mobile device management, ensuring secure access to corporate resources.
Microsoft Copilot Rollout: Led the rollout of Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and provide AI-driven assistance to employees.
Custom AI App Development: Developed custom AI applications tailored to the company’s specific needs, leveraging machine learning and data analytics.
Moodle LMS: Set up a Moodle Learning Management System to facilitate employee training and development.
Challenges
Migrating to Azure Hosting involved ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and minimizing downtime. The adoption of a Zero Trust Security Approach required a cultural shift and extensive training to ensure all employees understood and adhered to new security protocols. Establishing the PowerPlatform CoE involved standardizing processes and fostering a culture of innovation.
