As an IT System Specialist at Adecco, I was responsible for managing and executing key IT projects that enhanced the company’s infrastructure and streamlined operations. My primary projects included the rollout of LANDesk Software Deployment and the implementation of Teams and SharePoint Online to replace traditional file servers.
Implementation & Configuration
LANDesk Software Deployment Rollout: Led the deployment of LANDesk software across the organization to improve software management and deployment processes. This project involved configuring the software, training IT staff, and ensuring a smooth rollout with minimal disruption to daily operations.
Teams & SharePoint Online as File Server Replacement: Implemented Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online to replace traditional file servers, enhancing collaboration and file management. This project included migrating data, setting up the new platforms, and training employees on their use.
Challenges
The LANDesk Software Deployment Rollout presented challenges related to ensuring compatibility with existing systems and minimizing downtime during the deployment process. Extensive testing and careful planning were essential to address these issues. The implementation of Teams and SharePoint Online as a file server replacement required overcoming resistance to change and ensuring data integrity during the migration process.
